Wholesale Hardware Costs - cost to purchase all non-floral material supplies to make the floral product such as the container (vase), tape, ribbons, pins, mechanics, etc.

Markup - the difference in your buying price (wholesale cost) and your selling price (retail price) to cover the wholesale cost of goods and operating expenses and to generate a profit. A Markup can be represented as a percentage, a number or a dollar amount.

Hardware Markup - the number to multiply your wholesale hardware cost to achieve your retail hardware price or your percentage markup.

Retail Hardware Price - the selling price to the customer for your hardware used in your floral product to make a profit.

Wholesale Flower Cost - cost to purchase the floral recipe (all the flowers, greenery, foliage, etc.) to make the arrangement.

Flower Markup - the number to multiply your wholesale flower cost to achieve your retail flower price or your percentage markup.

Retail Flower Price - the selling price to the customer for your florals used in your floral product to make a profit.

Retail Floral Design Percentage Fee - the percentage of the Retail Flower Price to make a profit and cover the design labor cost to create the floral arrangement.

Retail Floral Design Fee - the dollar fee charge to make a profit and cover the design labor cost to create the floral arrangement.

Retail Floral Product Price - the selling price to the customer for your floral product (arrangement, bouquet, installation etc.) which is the total of the three prices which include the Retail Hardware Price, plus the Retail Flower Price, plus the Retail Floral Design Fee.
